Bullet Journal

I published a book!! It still gives me goosebumps to say. I have struggled with self doubt and not feeling like I am enough for so long that to push myself outside of my comfort zone is something I am very proud of.

When you see journal, don’t be fooled. It is packed full of information as well as interactive exercises and helpful tips. I chose the bullet journal format for several reasons.

  1. Attention spans are incredibly low. We are all used to the quick scroll so I didn’t want to overwhelm the reader with pages of information all saying the same thing. I think you will find a lot of straightforward insight in a succinct manner.

  2. The students who took my Feel Empowered Everyday class were taking notes in their bullet journals and their creativity inspired me. I used to scrapbook so this took me back to the days of feeling a bit artistic.

  3. One major lesson I took away from working with middle schoolers is the reminder that not everyone learns the same way. I am hoping that the physical book, visual stimulation of each page, chance to add to the doodles, color in the sketches and click the QR codes for videos will appeal to all modalities of learning.

  4. It gave me the opportunity to share a journal of what I learned through an incredibly difficult time of my life in hopes that receiving these lessons, perspectives and mindsets will help others develop the emotional intelligence needed to feel empowered everyday no matter what age and stage of life you are in.

I hope you pick up a copy for yourself and/or as a gift to someone you know who could use some guidance in strengthening who they are. Having a strong sense of self is the best gift we can give others. And if you are so inclined, I would love a review on Amazon. 😃
