Rescue Dog Challenges

Hey everyone, meet sweet Scooby - 8 month old Pit/Mastiff mix. He came to us from a family who could no longer keep him and were moments away from having to put him in a shelter.

Poor little guy was absolutely petrified and wouldn’t come in the house or let us get anywhere near him for several hours. He has slowly warmed up and now on day 4 is cuddly and playful.

He and Pooley did a great job of taking cues from one another and even though we are not a dog experts by any means, they understand they we are the alphas in the house and listen to our boundaries.
